If anyone moves to Kohima, know the roads here are narrow, bumpy, and not the safest. The people here are warm and kind but at the same time can be a little discriminatory towards outsiders. We have a hilly terrain and the land is not the most stable, hence prone to landslides during monsoon. We do have a wonderfully pleasant weather throughout the year and you will like it here once you get over the initial hiccups.
