To move to Bahrija, Malta, one must love living in warm humid conditions, surrounded by sea. When I say warm, I mean very warm or hot, temperatures can reach 40 degrees and more in peak summer season. Also, for the history buffs, the island has numerous prehistoric temples and sites, as well as historic buildings built by the Knight templars.

Anyone moving to where I live should invest in a bathing suit, good sunscreen protection and must love sunny and hot (to extremely hot) weather. Even though the island is small and there is a lot to visit, public transport is abysmal, so if you are very courageous, you should rent a car. People are very friendly and English is one of our official languages, so foreigners find it easy to integrate.
