Someone moving to Santa Rosa City should know how much rent costs in the urban area. There are already malls, restaurants, and tourist parks around the area, so cost of living is probably higher. The city is also close to the capital, Metro Manila, so transportation is easier for those working in the capital.

Santa Rosa City is a good place because the environment is very peaceful and people here are very friendly. The only concern in living here is that it is very far from all the job sites and there are only a few vehicles that pass here. You should have your own vehicle to travel.

The current city that I’ve been living have full of factories and dorms, apartment that a worker can live with. It is very accessible and many fast food chains. You can buy clothes at a cheapest price. All transportation are available, many shuttle services so sometimes you get to be stock on traffic.

Sta. Rosa is rapidly becoming a more industrialized city as the years go by. Being a city in a province, it is expected to be teeming with life and nature. However, that is no longer the case as more and more industries have started their businesses within the cities. Due to this, more areas are being converted to factories and the like. Traffic is also an increasing problem due to the amount of workers that need to get to their jobs.

Santa Rosa is dubbed as the Lion City of the South since it is the most progressive city in Laguna. It has a great deal of economy, with its big malls, busy establishments, and rapidly rising real estate rates. It is well-known for its successful development of Nuvali, the “green development”, as a joint project with Ayala. No wonder, heavy traffic is expected of the city, so you must leave early if you don’t want to be late for work.

Being a city in a third-world country, Santa Rosa has severe traffic and pollution issues. Polluted rivers, trash and plastic clogging the drainages, dirty and vandalized walls, and thick smoke coming from old vehicles are just some of the problems than can be observed easily in the streets. Despite these negative aspects of the city, residents of Santa Rosa, like any other Filipino citizen, are cheerful and kind-hearted. We are resilient and positive in any situation.

Our city may have congested roads, but you will surely enjoy it. For it has a great location, where the malls, working sites, schools, and all the necessities you may need is nearby your area. There is nothing you have to worry about except that you have to deal with the everyday traffic.

Our place is famous for Enchanted Kingdom a park for many rides. We have Nuvali here, a place for factory price shoes and clothes. We live near manufacturing companies so business is alive. A lot of establishments were built for commercial purposes. All factories are located here so expect traffic during peak hours.

For any person contemplating of moving to Santa Rosa City, be prepared to wake up early in the morning. Our city is notorious for the heavy daily traffic along the major roadways. Your typical 30-minute trip can quickly turn into a two-hour slog. Be prepared and plan your trip in advance and allot additional travel time to avoid being late.
