There are noisy birds that wake us up in the mornings called Hadedas. In springtime, the Jacaranda trees cover the streets with purple flowers. Traffic is the worst in the mornings and evenings. But listening to the radio makes it bearable. If that isn’t something you can tolerate, there is a train available that will get you to work on time.

Someone considering moving to my city should know that, public transport is really hard to find; it’s not easy to find friends, and there are no spaza shops around, so you have to go to the nearest supermarket to purchase household essentials. My city is vast and very beautiful, they should know that too.

In Centurion we have a low crime rate. Know traffic is congested in peak hours. Property prices are very expensive in Centurion. The community of Centurion is a very close-knit community. There is a lot of schools nearby in all residential areas. The mayor of Centurion is Herman Mashaba.

Centurion is well between the economic hub of South Africa (Johannesburg) and the capital (Pretoria). Transportation to and from Centurion between cities is easily accessible via the high speed Gautrain, Uber services and private taxis. The people of Centurion are all friendly and welcoming especially towards foreign travellers.

Centurion is a small city that falls under the Tshwane municipality. It has a population of 250 000+ and is a very charming city. It is a city that can be accessed easily by using the National Route 1. Centurion is home to Supersport park, Irene farms and a Gautrain station. The city is near Pretoria and Midrand.

Someone moving to Centurion should know it is a good distance between Pretoria and Johannesburg and so offers a more laid back atmosphere while being close enough to work in either place. It is also good to note that we have major train routes running through Centurion. We also have a strong sense of community and so they should be prepared to be an active member of the community.
