I reside in the city of Windhoek, which is located in Namibia. South West of Africa. A few things you should know about my city is that, it is located in the center of the county. Windhoek is the capital city of Namibia and it serves as a tourist attraction for many foreigners.

Windhoek is the capital city of Namibia. The city is populated by people from all over Namibia. The majority of people are from the Oshiwambo speaking tribe, they are very kind and helpful. You will hardly ever get bored in Windhoek because of the many adventurous activities you can do in this beautiful city such as dune boarding, go-kart racing, and swimming.

Windhoek is the capital city of Namibia with tall buildings and beautiful night lights. Most of the industrial areas are found in Windhoek where one can easily get a job. It is very difficult moving around Windhoek from school, work, gym and shopping due to the high increasing traffic during the morning hours and knock off time. Windhoek is a beautiful city.

Be well versed in the English language as it is the national language of Namibia. Getting into a hotel or guest house is inexpensive, because of the growing tourism industry. Public transportation is relatively cheap, but be aware of robbers as you would any other place. Other than that, the people are very friendly and welcoming.

The price of cab to and from various locations within the city. Where Single Quarter is located for the best kapana. The locations to never visit alone in Katutura, especially if you’re new to town. Never go clubbing alone and always go drinking with people you really trust. Majority of cabs here are shared public transport, always greet people you find inside a cab, it is rude not to.

The population of Windhoek is very small and businesses are not really making that much profit. But, it is a very peaceful area when you want to avoid noise and those kinds of things. It is a very good area for retirement and when you need a place to relax for your holidays I recommend it.
