Things To Do in St. Helens, England

The city is full of exciting activities, from paddle boarding to socialising. It offers many food and drink outlets which are open regularly throughout the week. The most prominent feature of the city is the people, they are the friendliest people in England. Although the accent they carry can be quite irritating.
The place where I live is almost exactly halfway between Liverpool and Manchester, so there is no shortage of things to see and do. St. Helens itself is renowned as a centre of glassmaking, and any sports fan is more than catered for, be they a fan of Rugby League, Football or Cricket. The area has a vibrant Arts scene, and many music venues, with theatres such as the Theatre Royal in St. Helens, the Everyman in Liverpool and the Palace Theatre in Manchester. The history of the two cities and the surrounding towns is recorded in the many museums and galleries, including the Liverpool Tate gallery, the World of Glass in St. Helens, and the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.
