We have great weather here. San Francisco is less than 2 hours drive. If you like the snow, Lake Tahoe is also less than 2 hours away. Great skiing.

Sacramento is not a metropolis; it’s not even a large city. What it lacks in location, though, it makes up for in proximity. Sacramento is approximately two hours by car from San Francisco, two hours from the ocean, two hours from ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada, two hours from Lake Tahoe. It’s ideally situated for people who enjoy short visits to amazing places.

Sacramento is the state capital of California, though it was not originally. It is the home of the Sacramento Kings basketball team, and it is the city of the trees. Sacramento is widely known for being an extremely diverse city. There are always engaging events accruing, especially in the central downtown.

Sacramento is the capital of California. Though it is not the largest of cities, if you come from a small town it may seem very large. Sacramento has a lot of diversity and culture. There are also many activities to partake in the downtown. There is a train museum there, the old historic buildings of Old-Town Sacramento, and the Sacramento River that runs right through the heart of the city.

Someone moving to Sacramento should know how simply great of the city is. Compared to larger cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, Sacramento is a more laid-back and slower-paced city. The suburbs are a great place to raise a family, without being too far from the actions of everyday outings and activities. Trips to neighboring cities, beaches, or even mountains can all be done in the same day due to its central location.

Sacramento is the city of trees. Because of this, the air is very clean, and the people are kind. Midtown provides a fun nightlife if you’re in the mood for drinks or karaoke. The rent is not cheap; however, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend living in Sacramento.
