Lafayette is essentially a college town, although technically the college in question is across the river in West Lafayette. Having Purdue University nearby brings a lot of life and interest to the community. There are plenty of restaurants and parks around. Plus, I’m always impressed by the research and discovery accomplished in this humble Midwestern community. It’s the home on Amelia Earhart and Neil Armstrong!

Lafayette is a small, quaint city. It is a place full of hidden adventures. Its exterior is dull with minimal activities. However, there are incredible experiences hidden just beneath the surface. There are parks to explore and painted rocks to find. There are haunted asylums and beautiful bed and breakfast stays. The roads lead to solvable mysteries and lush pastures. The grass in the state is a bright, beautiful green. Lafayette is underrated, but it holds magic in its soil.
