Igarra also known as Etuno is the headquarter of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State. It surrounded by mighty rocks. An important event in Igarra is the Aba festival that is celebrated once in seven years. It usually brings together the sons and daughters of Igarra, both home and abroad.

Igarra is the headquarter of the biggest Local Government (Akoko-Edo) in Nigeria. It is a rocky land with high mountains and caves. The king of Igarra is known by the title “Otaru”. Igarra is well know for her “Aba” festival which is celebrated once in seven years. It is a festival that brings the sons and daughters of Igarra, both home and abroad together to celebrate their rich cultural heritage.
