Dindigul is one of the largest cities in Tamil Nadu by area. More than three lakhs people are living. It’s well known for biryani and locks. So, it’s also called biriyani city and lock city. The most interesting tourist places are Fort, Palani, Sirumalai, Kodaikanal, etc. It also popular for pilgrim centers like palani.

The transport facilities, door delivery food items and cafeteria are less available here. There is no standard clothing store here. But there is beautiful village area surrounded everywhere. In villages people are friendly enough. There is good infra-structured colleges available nearby so students can easily get them. They is swimming academy nearby in which they can get trained.

The city I reside at is mostly noted for the food and the surrounding tourist destinations. The first reference from me would be is to grab a plate of biryani with a local cuisine enriched with spicy and traditional cooking style. And the second one would be a travel to any of the nearest mountain resorts.

It is a small city known for its tourist spot and its importance in the freedom struggle of India. Centered around the fort, the main city is constructed. Most of the schools, churches, temples, and mosques are present in the heart of it. Nearby villagers come to the city for their families’ shopping.
