Statesboro is a small town located just 40 miles from Savannah, Georgia. A little college town, Statesboro has many bars to choose from. Even though there isn’t much to do during the day, Statesboro is close enough to other large cities that offer a decent day life for more active residents.

If someone wanted to move to Statesboro, they’d have to get used to the many college students. This is a college city and lots of these students don’t know how to drive. The city is small, but honestly, you could get around with just a bike if you desired. I recommend it for anyone wanting to move to a calm place, yet keep some city aspects.

Statesboro is a wonderful small town with many activities for families. We are lucky to have a major university which gives us many opportunities for enrichment. We also have a popular and well-established community for the arts in which children and adults are able to take various classes in dance, music, theater, and self-expression.
