Sittingbourne is a town of medium size. The population is mixed in terms of employment and includes both a large proportion of professionals commuting to the nearby capital and a significant number employed locally in more manufacturing based industries. The area is surrounded to the south by countryside, The Garden of England, and to the north by the coast, both giving ample opportunities to pursue various leisure activities.
Kent is the Garden of England known for its quirky towns and villages. It is about an hour from our country’s capital so if you want to be close to the city but far from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. Kent has a lot of beautiful countrysides to enjoy hikes and views. If you want to see some history you can visit Rochester or Canterbury cathedrals.
