Kuching is the capital of Sarawak, a beautiful city with lots of greens and wonderful friendly people. It is a multi racial city where Malays, Chinese, Indians, Ibans, Dayaks and other ethnic races come together. You will be amazed to see them sitting in the same shops or restaurants regardless of their religions, ones that you can’t capture in other parts of Malaysia. Something that is wonderful among the locals. There are local and western cuisines, drinks like coffee to alcoholic beverages are plentiful here. The city is getting crowded with more development for the past few years but still it’s not hard to get around and the new government is trying to make new plans with new infrastructure to revive the city for the people. And to those who are adventurous, just outside of Kuching there are more nature wonders to explore. For those who are keen to visit, the people of Kuching welcome you with a smile!

Weather in Kuching is either hot or wet year-round. Secondly food – if they are a foodie, one should consider moving here as we have a lot of food ranging from Asian to Western cuisine – could be quite spicy but if they have a strong stomach and curious mind, they should be all right. Nightlife is non-existent.
