Kuching is the capital of Sarawak, a beautiful city with lots of greens and wonderful friendly people. It is a multi racial city where Malays, Chinese, Indians, Ibans, Dayaks and other ethnic races come together. You will be amazed to see them sitting in the same shops or restaurants regardless of their religions, ones that you can’t capture in other parts of Malaysia. Something that is wonderful among the locals. There are local and western cuisines, drinks like coffee to alcoholic beverages are plentiful here. The city is getting crowded with more development for the past few years but still it’s not hard to get around and the new government is trying to make new plans with new infrastructure to revive the city for the people. And to those who are adventurous, just outside of Kuching there are more nature wonders to explore. For those who are keen to visit, the people of Kuching welcome you with a smile!

Kuching city is the capital of Sarawak. It is a city with colourful cultural heritage. The people in this city are friendly, helpful, pleasant and unique in their culture and diverse ethnicity. It has many street stalls which is has become a tourist attraction for its variety of local food, handicrafts and souvenirs. The standard of living in Kuching is moderately affordable.
