Budapest is a lovely city. It has a rich history and beautiful landmarks to visit. Budapest is well known for their wonderful cafes, scenery, and people. The best part of living in Budapest is how affordable it is compared to other capital European cities. Apartments can be pricey, but the main necessities are affordable. It is a very unique and budget-friendly city.

In the winter, Budapest can turn remarkably cold, with lows sometimes even reaching -20 °C. In return, summers are also extremely hot here. If you are tired of the extreme weather outside, you’ll soon find that indoor activities are way more interesting and fulfilling here: Budapest is internationally recognised for its bustling art scene, with relatively new theaters and contemporary galleries that almost always serve as cafés, too.

Budapest is a spectacular city. It is enriched by a wide variety of interesting places, such as well-known museums, restaurants with local, traditional cuisines. It is crossed by one of Europe’s biggest rivers called Duna. The city center filled with vivid spots from pubs to discos which provide the essential nightlife for teenagers and adults as well.

The prices are not so high as in the USA. Hungarian people can be really nice if they want something from you. Budapest is one of the most beautiful city in Europe. A lot of foreigners love Hungarian cuisine, but some may say it is a bit spicy, I don’t know, it’s pretty normal for me. The River Donau is gorgeous but it’s very dirty so you shouldn’t swim in it.

Budapest is a fantastic city with a rich history and an exciting present. The cost of living is fairly low, and whether your are moving for work or to attend one of our prestigious universities there will always be something for you to do in your free time. Culture and history tours are available year-round, both guided or independent, where you can enjoy getting to know the city. If history is not for you, then there are any number of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs where you can have an evening out with old friends, or go alone and make some new ones!

It’s simply the greatest city in the world. Amazing buildings and hidden spots all over the city, multicultural enough to make anyone feel at home, although probably Hungarian enough to depress you every now and then. It has a hill, a river, baths from the Roman era, great restaurants for any taste, and world-famous pubs of all kinds, most of them with cheap booze. I’ve been to many cities all over Europe, and I can tell you, I had great experiences in all of them, but nothing can compete with watching the sunset on the top of Gellért Hill, overlooking the Danube, and some of the best sights of the city.
