The residents of Budapest hardly speak any English and communication is quite hard with that language barrier. That being said, it is not impossible to get around, you just have to find the right person to ask. Other than that, the nightlife and the price of a good night out when compared with the rest of Europe keeps one wanting to come back visiting this lovely city.

Budapest is an ambient city in which many people reside for a long term. Transportation is extremely accessible and most people are helpful. However, one of the most important notes when moving to Budapest is to make sure that you have acquired a good amount of the native language, i.e., Hungarian. People in the capital are more familiar and comfortable with their mother tongue; therefore, it would cause difficulties if you communicate with them in a foreign language such as English or German. Additionally, researching and preparing for accommodation before are recommended. The capital city is geographically diverse, it would come in handy later on when there is location involved.
