London is called the forest city. It’s known for her family oriented ambiance and safety. The weather is one of the best in Canada. People are very friendly here and welcome immigrants into their communities. It is a great place to raise your kids. Summer days are great for barbeque.

London, Ontario, is a wonderful city. London is about two hours west of the GTA, which provides convenience for people who want to be in a metropolitan city while being close to urban places. There are a lot of places to explore, from indoor activities such as museums to outdoor ones like the Springbank.

There are two things that London is best known for, one being that it is a forest city and two is being a retirement city. It is not the place if you have a tree phobia since most streets are lined with them. There is an abundance of bike and walking trails along the river making London an ideal spot for the outdoor enthusiast. The low key atmosphere makes this city a great place to retire, however, there is very little nightlife in the downtown core. If late night fun is what you are looking for, Toronto might be a better choice.
