While quality of life is something of an elusive or ill-defined concept, it can be boiled down to "Is Arlington a good place to live?" or "Is Arlington a bad place to live?" Here's what two local experts had to say about quality of life and overall happiness in Arlington, Virginia.

Arlington is a great area for young adults. It offers the perfect balance between the bustling city and the calm suburbs. Arlington consists of areas such as Clarendon, Rosslyn, and Ballston. The area is filled with luxury apartments surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops. Everything is within walking distance to metro stations. I definitely recommend anyone who works in DC to live in the Arlington area.

Arlington is located outside of Washington, DC I recommend that you visit the famous Arlington Cemetery, the Pentagon, and the Air Force Memorial while in the area. The three sites are within half a mile of each other. Crystal City, a bustling commercial area within Arlington, will soon be home to Amazon’s new headquarters.
