Batavia is one of three “tri-cities” found in Kane County, IL, along the banks of the Fox River. Because of the city’s proximity to the river and access to local trails and parks, residents of Batavia tend to cherish the area forest preserves and outdoor venues. The city has a quaint downtown, too, filled with shops and restaurants within walking distance of one another.

The people in Batavia and the neighboring towns are friendly, and there are gorgeous sights and sounds downtown Batavia. Strolling along the Fox River, you can feel a nice breeze as you gaze upon the shimmering waves of the river. All kinds of fun events and places are to be experienced when being in Batavia.
