The city of Emmett is a great place for families. The city is filled with friendly people, and it has a fantastic library that doubles as a community center. One significant drawback of moving to Emmett is the potential of having to commute to nearby cities for work and shopping.

Emmett is a small, rural town about 30 minutes to the northwest of Boise. Originally known for its cherry orchards and the lumber mill, it now has a mixture of agriculture, ranching, and small businesses. Many people move to this area to enjoy the benefits of the big city nearby, but the quietness of small-town living.
