Oxford is a suburb with rural charm located in northern Oakland County. The city’s main street features a small downtown area with typical mom-and-pop-type shops and restaurants. Venture north or south of town a mile or two and you’ll encounter the convenience of more mainstream shopping and dining; from chain restaurants to large retailers, such as Meijer and Tractor Supply Company. While the town has developed extensively in the past decade, it maintains a desirable level of small-town charm.
