Moscow has a quirky, playful energy about it. You might see a group of people walking down the street wearing Dungeons and Dragons garb. Or you might be kept awake at night by a student and his girlfriend loudly discussing philosophy. These are regular concurrences, but the experience might be off-putting to someone used to a more conservative setting.

Someone moving to Moscow should know it is a university town. the university means that there is an abundance of deals on food and drinks, but also that the town can become crowded during the academic year. For anyone associated with the university, it is a good city.
