From schools for early education to nearby colleges and universities, here's what four local experts had to say about education in Pennington, New Jersey.

My home town offers beautiful parks, a great library system and a strong school system from pre-school up to the high school level. It is a charming town with historic homes, architecture and minimal traffic. Quality education, a slow-paced and friendly community, and strong local businesses offer families of all ages a perfect place to live.

HELPFUL REPORT

Pennington is a wonderful place for families. Toll Gate Elementary is among the best elementary schools in the state and the town is remarkably safe. The “downtown” is fun, anchored by Vito’s Pizza, a Pennington mainstay. The Pennington School is also in town, adding students from all over to this lovely place.

Pennington is a town rich with history. Many of the buildings still retain their original outside appearance. Each year, we have a celebration in the middle of May known as Pennington Day to celebrate the founding of our town. Although the town is small, the town is tight knit. The education we provide for the kids is also high quality as most of our taxes are put into the schools.

Anyone moving to Pennington should know the property taxes are high. Pennington is a beautiful city with good school systems. Pennington also has a low crime rate and is a nice community of people. Pennington is close to Princeton and there are many shopping and restaurant establishments within a 10-minute driving distance.
