Granada is a beautiful and historic place. Nestled on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the city is the last known Muslim stronghold in the country. It’s international atmosphere is well-known, and the city is home to a large amount of international students from all over the world. The historic centre of the city is home to the remains of two of the most famous Spanish royals: Isabel and Fernando. The city has many things to offer for both casual travelers and long-term expats.

Anyone moving to this city should visit Alhambra as soon as possible. It’s especially stunning during night visits. Public transportation is also very organized and cheap, I would highly recommended its use over private vehicles. Finally, since it’s a city full of university students, most restaurants are fairly economic and fast.
