The city doesn’t boast of grandeur and lifestyle but has all the required facilities to live life peacefully. The people here are warm and welcoming. Schools are very good. The city is home to reputed national institutes like LBSNAA, IMA, FRI, WII, ASI.
Dehradun valley a city of love and peace, surrounded by lush green trees and mountains, is the hub of educations. It has some of the premier institutes established by the British, one of them being “the doon school”. known for its litchi and basmati rice, it is an ideal place for nature lovers.
Dehradun is a small city, 250 KM from Delhi, with an airport and railway station. Rains are heavy which starts in July till September. Being a small city, it’s less crowded. There are many old age homes, schools and colleges due to which it comes across as as retirement destination where majority of crowd is either young adult or senior citizens.
