Diversity and Racism in Klerksdorp, North West

An old small town filled with multicultural people. It was a formerly known as a predominantly Afrikaans town but in recent years has been quite diverse. It is has many old gold mines around the area. The town also has one of the biggest hospitals in the province and also a the biggest single-phased mall.
The residents are diverse–whites, blacks, and Indians all coexisting in harmony. Businesses are a success here while jobs are hard to find. There are three malls with Matlosana Mall being the most popular. There are plenty of grocery shops. Restaurants are quite few considering the population.
