Ibadan is one of the largest city in Africa. The city accommodate people from different tribes. Some say is the origin of all other tribes. It was stated in history that the victorious armies of Ife, ijebu and Oyo kingdom camped at Ibadan ad formed the modern city of ibadan.
The people of the city are from the Yoruba tribe, the local language is Yoruba the peculiar local foods are Amala with gbegiri and ewedu. They are known as the real Yoruba proper. The city is about an hour and a half from the city of Lagos. The it clothing Sare iro and buba for the women and Sokoto for the men.
