Ibadan is a splendid city in the west of Nigeria. It is an ancient, rugged and awe inspiring city with its many picturesque ancient buildings with brown roofs. It is a centre of intellectual life as it houses various academic institutions one of which is Nigeria’s premier university, the University of Ibadan. It is also a centre of deep religious presence as it is home to many Roman Catholic Religious congregations. In sum, Ibadan is a home of peace and intellectual life.

Ibadan is quite an old, rugged and ancient place. It is in Oyo state of Nigeria. It is a home to many universities and Catholic religious congregations; It is important to note that, Ibadan is a home to all. It’s very welcoming terrain and serene environment marks it out among other cities in Nigeria. It is a centre of culture and intellectual life.

Ibadan is the biggest in the whole of West Africa, both landmass and population. The first television station in Africa is also from there. It’s a city dominated by Yoruba speaking natives of Nigeria. There is a native place ruler known as an Oba who serves as both the political and religious head.
