Crown Point is close enough to Chicago to be considered a suburb, but since it’s Indiana, the taxes are lower. Great downtown area with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. The schools are some of the best in the state, and the crime rate is very low. Less than an hour from everything Chicago has to offer, and if driving on the expressway isn’t your thing, the South Shore train will take you right to the heart of the city.
