Birkirkara is a village in the small archipelago of the Maltese islands. It’s a very old village, and definitely not a quaint or quiet one. In fact, it is one of the most polluted places in the country due to the high volume of traffic and the various industries that operate from the said village. This has regretfully led to a deterioration of the very fabric that made this village special.

Anyone moving to Birkirkara ought to keep in mind that this city is small. The community is very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Unfortunately, Birkirkara lacks much vegetation and buildings undergoing construction are often seen at every corner. Despite this, however, it is a wonderful city.

Birkirkara is a cultural city in Malta, having a number of historical monuments for people interested in history and culture. There are a number of jobs for people moving to the city and the it is very safe. It is a growing urban city in Malta and the nightlife is outstanding.

Birkirkara is a modern bustling town in the middle of the island. Some would say it’s over-crowded and noisy, its streets constantly jammed with traffic. Others, like myself, prefer to think of it as the perfect town for those who want to have everything at arm’s length, and who want to be able to commute easily, economically and quickly to other parts of the island.
