Beaches in and near Málaga: What do you need to know?
two local expertsLeave a comment
Malaga is a marvellous city which is surrounded by beaches and has beautiful architecture. It is in the South of Spain and has fantastic weather year-round, as well as being the hometown of Pablo Picasso. Colours are predominant in this little vibrant city and various main events happen throughout the year, including: la feria de Málaga and la Semana Santa.
Whilst Malaga’s beaches are picturesque (when not overrun with tourists), those moving here ought to be aware that the salaries on offer are the lowest in the country. Due to the reduced cost of living, companies often pay their employees what would be considered less than a living wage – at times even the minimum wage – in the UK. English teachers in particular are often paid under the table.
