Batesville is a small, rural area full of mom and pop shops and very rarely much aside from wildlife. The city taxes are high and the funds are not distributed properly to fund the dilapidated roads. The state is a Republican state, and so many of the cities within are of the same belief.

Someone who was considering a visit to Batesville, Arkansas, should be aware of its lovely views. There are several to see, but my favorite is to park on Ramsey Mountain to overlook the entire city. The view will take your breath away. I have spent many nights here just marveling at the beautiful chaos of the city below.

Batesville is a beautiful small town with a river running through it. It is the county seat with a population of 100,000. The main industries are medical care and chicken processing. Community leaders are working hard to make the town a tourism destination. Perhaps its biggest claim to fame is the Mark Martin Museum, dedicated to a local boy who made it big in NASCAR.
