There are several successful elementary, middle, and high schools in the area that have well-funded arts and academic programs. The suburbs have many parks, fields, and ball courts, and the Goodyear recreational sports are strongly integrated into the community.

The Litchfield Park Historical Society Museum, previously the home of WWII community volunteer Mary Brinton-Tubbs, provides an accessible snapshot of the area’s agricultural and residential history; but of course, you could always visit historical buildings like the Litchfield Train Station or St. Thomas Mission Church yourself. The Litchfield Park Festival of the Arts is held every fall and spring with craftsmen selling their unique artwork, food, and music. The marching band has also taken part in the Christmas in the Park parades, which bring the community together every holiday season.

Litchfield Park is a small community on the west side of Phoenix. It has a higher cost of living relative to the communities that surround it. The weather in summer is hot and dry, with temperatures reaching above 115 degrees. Litchfield Park is home to the Wigwam Resort and several large art shows throughout the year.
