Lilongwe is very dusty and depending on the area your staying in not as much. It does not quite have all the amenities in one place. To get some things done you have to go another part of the town or city. We also don’t have big malls like in other countries.
It is always under construction. Lilongwe is always changing and growing, as much as its citizens. It’s also always dusty, not suitable for allergies, especially in October. The buildings aren’t many, and the few that stand aren’t too tall, so you’ll always catch a sunset, no matter how low you are.
