Most museums are free and there are many interesting ones here. Mid Atlantic weather is temperate, except for hot days in July and August.
This town is all about politics. Also good for singles looking for a well educated match. Housing is rather expensive but less than NYC, big California cities, or Boston. Weather is fairly good.
Washington, DC is a lovely city to visit, particularly in spring, when the cherry trees and dogwood trees are in bloom. There is a lot to do in Washington, DC that are free of charge, including the Smithsonian museums and the National Gallery of Art. There are also many interesting monuments. The weather is also nice in spring.
