In the nation’s capital, most people move around the city via public transport. I have found that taking the metro is typically faster and cheaper than driving and parking in Washington, DC. There are some times that have excessive overcrowding. As such it is better to avoid travel from 8AM to 10AM and 4PM to 7PM.
