Don’t consider moving to DC unless you have lots of money. Cost of living here is among the highest in the US, especially housing. Traffic is awful most days. Violent crime is on the rise. That stated, it’s a great town for cultural attractions, nightlife, high paying jobs and career opportunities, moderate climate, outdoor activities, sports, fine dining.

If you can’t find something to do in Washington, that’s on you. From endless Government monuments to fun restaurants to sports teams, there’s tons to see and experience. Public transportation can get you anywhere you’d like to go but Ubers and Lyfts are often easier.

Washington, DC is a very diverse, yet separated city. There is much from a cultural or culinary aspect to enjoy. Historically, it beyond memorable. Several distinguished universities are within the city limits, as well scenic and comfortable neighborhoods. An interesting place or simply enjoy. As an urban center, it confronts the same difficulties found in many US cities.

Washington DC is a great place known for not only have the White House, but also having great restaurants that serve great brunch and bottomless mimosas. Washington D. C is known for great transportation, and the expensive cost of living, so you should never dismiss downsizing to save a few dollars.
