Basingstoke is a wonderful place that has countryside and city life in harmony with each other. Excellent schools and healthcare facilities are afforded to Basingstoke. Public transport is reliable and the city houses a modern shopping mall that caters for all tastes. Reputable chain restaurants and unique food places offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Those moving to Basingstoke must consider three things without fail: schools in the area, local amenities and the transport links. Since the town is a commuter hub, rents can be high, especially for family homes; with the frequency of new housing developments appearing constantly increasing, options are becoming more varied.

Basingstoke is a large town from where Burberry coats and Thornycroft Vehicles originate. The small older area in the centre contains St Michael’s Church and park with attractive almshouses and the Haymarket Theatre, and the newer sprawling conurbations have expanded out to ring roads, roundabouts, a shopping centre and leisure park. The source of the Basingstoke canal begins here and the River Loddon provide natural beauty.
