Basingstoke is a wonderful place that has countryside and city life in harmony with each other. Excellent schools and healthcare facilities are afforded to Basingstoke. Public transport is reliable and the city houses a modern shopping mall that caters for all tastes. Reputable chain restaurants and unique food places offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Basingstoke is a large town from where Burberry coats and Thornycroft Vehicles originate. The small older area in the centre contains St Michael’s Church and park with attractive almshouses and the Haymarket Theatre, and the newer sprawling conurbations have expanded out to ring roads, roundabouts, a shopping centre and leisure park. The source of the Basingstoke canal begins here and the River Loddon provide natural beauty.

Basingstoke is a commuter town, close to London. There are plenty of parks to visit, and there is a good sense of community. The house prices are reasonable for the location. Basingstoke is a good place to raise children because there are many good schools in the area. There are also lots of great indoor venues.
