One negative aspect of this city is traffic. It’s something you’ll have to deal with every single day, no matter what time it is. The volume of the cars is just too much for our roads to handle. Despite traffic, one good thing is that the city is in the center of all the other cities. Most places are within reach so it’s also an advantageous location.

Someone moving to Metro Manila should know three things. First, one must be prepared for the hot climate since Metro Manila is in a tropical country and as the capital, it is also a busy and densely populated city. Another thing one should be acquainted with is the concept of Filipino time, a concept derived from the heavy traffic in this city which demands hours of travel time just to get to somewhere in time. one should remember to keep an open mind and be completely immersed in the experience, an experience that includes an insight into a third world metropolitan and a chance to interact with the warm and welcoming Filipinos.
