When coming into the city, from whichever hometown, they should be open minded. You just might like it. It too does have it’s fair share of ups and downs, much like any other.

Polokwane is a peaceful and slow city. It is surrounded by beautiful scenic mountains and long rivers. It is the perfect place for a person that is looking for a slow and quiet environment. There are three dominant cultural groups that are friendly and welcoming. There are no tall buildings or heavy traffic.

The climate here is over the charts, days are very hot and nights are warm. There’s always traffic on the roads and many trucks pass here everyday, there are always car accidents. The people are very friendly and welcoming, the nightlife is wild, we even call each other “mata”.

Polokwane is a very safe city. It is surrounded by mountains. There are different mode of transport that people use to go to the city from areas outside the city. When traveling from Johannesburg, there is a huge traffic circle where Polokwane started. Many government offices in Limpopo province are in Polokwane.
