It is a peaceful place, hence the name means ‘place of rest’. It is a good place to raise children, and has great schools. The culture is very diverse, it features a number of different tribes living together in harmony. You will often find the Sepedi, the Xitsonga and the Vhavenda tribes.

My city has good cultural diversity, it has people from different cultures. There is Venda, Sepedi and Tsonga culture. Despite the variations in our culture, we all share love and respect. Polokwane City has a university called University of Limpopo and many colleges. I’m very proud to be living in this city, it has taught me a lot.

We are a city that has diverse culture and the most beautiful landmarks in the country. Polokwane is the city that is green year-round and we supply the major cities with the best fresh produce, we also thrive off the tourism industry in our Province.

Polokwane is a very beautiful city where one could find lot of recreational places to have fun. It is a city full of people throughout the day and night and it has a lot of car movements. One could find it to be more interesting because they will be interacting with people from different races.
