Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando are just minutes from Kissimmee. It is overall a fun, comfortable, safe place for anyone. The perfect place for retirement.

Kissimmee offers many fun recreational opportunities for families including theme parks, nature preserves, and entertainment venues. I recommend that a family member pursue a job at one of the theme parks, which can be quite expensive, so that the family may enjoy discounted or free admission tickets. While there are many perks to living in Kissimmee, the weather can be incredibly hot, especially in summer.

Kissimmee has a community of creative, artistic people. There are many theaters, acting classes, small businesses, and museums all around. Downtown Orlando is a hub of beautiful architecture such as Dr Phillips Center. Kissimmee hosts a diverse population. If you’re ever in the area and craving Filipino food you can visit Nipa Hut on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.

Disney World will be your best go to location. Theme parks are close and provide great entertainment. Going to theme parks can be a lot of fun for date night or family outings. The best part of living in Kissimmee is the weather. The weather in Kissimmee is warm and rainy. Summer days require sunscreen.
