As a student, Nottingham is a great place. There are two universities in the city of Nottingham, which means the night-life is excellent. Nottingham also has a brilliant transport network, with both tram and bus services, so it is very easy to get around. My favourite thing about Nottingham is its second-hand shops and I often spend time at weekends trawling through them to find vintage clothes and accessories.

Nottingham is a small but bustling city with a large student population. It has a great shopping district, with both high street and designer stores right in the centre. The city is rich in history and features some well known locations such as Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Hall. We also celebrate our local folk hero Robin Hood.

Nottingham is a large city in the East Midlands. Tourists can visit the historic castle that sits on the top of a hill and contains an art gallery. They can also enjoy the varied shopping and restaurant offerings within the different areas of the city. The Lace Market area is of particular interest.

The average salary in Nottingham is above the national average, and due to Nottingham being such a culturally diverse city, there are many career paths you would be able to pursue. We have lots of immigrants in Nottingham, so people moving here would be able to find people who speak the same language as them, they can find shops selling foods from around the world. Along with the great career prospects, Nottingham also has 688 years of sporting heritage, and collectively, Nottinghamshire’s biggest sporting clubs have close to seven centuries of history. In just a two mile radius of the Tent Bridge crossing you’ll find two of the world’s oldest football clubs international and county cricket and the National Ice Centre.
