Lagos is a beautiful place, a well developed city. If you are considering moving to Lagos, you should consider the following tips. Firstly, have someone already living in the state or the area you are moving to, because it is easy to get lost. Secondly, have enough money on you to settle drivers on the way. Thirdly, asking for directions from passers-by may be risky as some people are known to take advantage of such people, so it’s better you ask uniformed men (police, etc.). Lastly, don’t trust anyone, Lagos is full with fraudsters or scammers, trust no one but yourself.

If you are planning to move to Lagos, you have to understand that while it is a beautiful place to live in, it is also crowded. The night life is as bustling as the day life. It is in fact, a city that never sleeps.

Lagos is a place for all. There are high end places like Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah and Ikeja. Considerably affordable places like Ogba, Magodo, Surulere and Yaba are also places one would love to settle down.

The cheapest places to live in include Agege, Ojo, Igando, Iyana-Iba,Iyana-Ipaja,Ipaja and Abule-Egba. Bear in mind that these places have the highest population and therefore the crime rate in these areas are very high. Tourists in these areas should be careful and on the look out for people who are likely to feign friendship in order to dupe them.

In Lagos, no matter the time, you can never go hungry as the street food is top notch. Do not leave Lagos without trying the street barbecued beef called Suya.

1. Be aware that road network in my area is in deplorable state.
2. Power supply is epileptic.
3. The drainage system is nothing to write home about.
4. It is advisable you avoid late night movement because of security lapses within and around the community.
5. There is effective water supply to all homes.

It is a cosmopolitan city in the south western area of Nigeria. The city has many industries, and a large percentage of the population are involved in trading. Living in my city is not entirely easy because it is always busy and mostly dangerous at night. It is always safer and better to carry out your daily activities during the day and always on time. Aside from that, the city is a good place to run a business if you are good at it.

Lagos is one of the largest business hub in West Africa. It’s a place of endless opportunities, affordable and serves as home to many individuals from different parts of the world. Security is an added advantage for her residents. Lagos has many road network for easier access to smaller towns within the city.

Lagos where I reside, is in the west coast of Africa. A visitor to Lagos must know the climate is temperate and as such one needs not pack thick clothing. Secondly even though the city is quite safe, some parts are not, consequently one should put safety first and be vary of nightlife especially. English is the official language spoken in Lagos Nigeria, consequently non English speakers should know this and engage the services of guides for ease of communication.

Lagos city is known for heavy traffic at any time of the day. Apart from that, the activities of the Garage boys popularly known as “Agberos” is another spectacle to behold. Another worrisome expectation is the current wave of crime in the city especially the rampant cult war on the street of Lagos.

Lagos is a very busy city, it’s the commercial capital of the country. Most of the time, the locals are friendly and helpful but often you’d run into a nutcase who will try to ruin your day. Lagos also has great nightlife, the best in the country. Its crime rate is relatively low and is densely populated. It’s an exciting place.

Anyone who wishes to move to Lagos, Nigeria, should know it is a very busy place and highly congested. One must always leave for appointments few hours before the scheduled time because of traffic. Lagos is a city where you also have to be security conscious because of the high rate of crime, but in all, it is an interesting place.

Everything and everyone in Lagos appears to be in a hurry. This is not even helped by the dense population in the State. Violation of public laws, filth and disorder are common in most parts of the City. Yet for all that, it remains the Country’s most productive nerve center.

You must move ahead of time to be able to beat traffic. There is also high crime rate in the City, one therefore has to be extra alert. Keep maps on your phone handy always, as the Street naming and coding are, to say the least, irregular. If you’re buying anything, haggle as prices are hardly fixed.

It is a densely populated city with a high cost of living. It is also known for its high crime rate and social vices. However, it is a city that provides its young minds with a wide range of career options to pick from. As regards the weather, Lagos has moderate rainfall and sunshine.

Anyone visiting Lagos should know how dangerous the city is. get to know how lively and accommodating the people of the city are. It will be nice for the person to know Lagos is an island and quite busy. The first-time visitor should that Lagos is the economic nerve-center of Nigeria.

Jobs are hard to find and get hired. Some schools are not high standard. Bad roads and unstable electricity. Some officers lack integrity. Market prices are very high and some people have the tendency to steal. There are a lot of cultists but just stay safe and you’ll be fine.

Maximum vehicular movement resulting in heavy traffic jam mostly during office closing hours, air pollution as a result of fumes from industries and vehicles, heavily congested with human, high cost of living, average robbery rate, presence of jobs and availability of market for your business/produce and mostly importantly, a high rate of fraudulent activities.

Lagos is the economic center of Nigeria. It is a city with opportunities for those willing to seek it. Lagos is a wonderful place on the condition that you can obey the law and have money. I recommend moving to Lagos if you want a wonderful experience.

Lagos is a fun city. We have several sites which have been known to attract visitors from different parts of the world. There is good food and quality music also. The only thing you should beware of is the slightly high rate of crime, there are hoodlums in some locations who are eager to dislodge you of your possessions.

There are a lot of people in this city and as an effect, there is high rate of criminal activities so one should be very careful and wise when dealing with people here. Also, there are many business opportunities one can enjoy here, as long as you are qualified and up to the task.

Saheed, says: 2020

Lagos is a very busy place. it is also one of the most populous urban cities in Nigeria. it houses many businesses, law firms and schools. Due to that it is highly populous, it has become one of the largest growing urban cities in Nigeria. Lagos is also very popular for its weekly events and daily commercial activities on the streets.

If visiting, the best advice I can give is, to visit the island and not the mainland. The security at the island is better than that of the mainland. Electricity in the mainland isn’t constant, whereas that of the island is. The road in the mainland isn’t good for transportation while that of the island is.

Chidera, says: 2020

Somebody moving to Lagos, Nigeria, should be prepared for higher-than-normal noise levels. Being one of the most populous cities on the African continent, the culturally-diverse Lagos has a very vibrant (and loud) environment to offer. Lagosians are friendly people, though one must always be environmentally aware and cautious to guard against petty thieves and con artists. Lagos is an exciting city with a lot to offer – it is better experienced in person.
