Reservoir is a beautiful suburb. We lived east of the train track and every year was better than the last. There is some new development that is replacing some of the lovely old homes but the community is quiet and respectful. The local coffee shop “beat coffee” is amazing.

Beware the unpredictable weather. People moving to this city should be prepared to deal with all four seasons in one day. While the weather is nice in summer, tourists should always pack a light jacket and boots in case it rains.

Someone moving to Reservoir should know the suburb is served well by public transport, with trains, buses and trams having regular services across the city. Property prices are also reasonable, especially considering that the suburb is located only 35 minutes from the business district of Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.
