Someone considering moving to my city must know that it is extremely hot, it is not “cool” weather like other people may think. They must also know that there is a very small population, unlike other cities in Australia. In fact, Darwin has the lowest population when comparing this city to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne or Hobart.
Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory of Australia. It has a population of roughly 130,000 people. There is quite a big community of Aboriginal people here. There are two main seasons in Darwin, which are wet and dry season. In wet season, the humidity level is very high in the air, which makes our bodies sweat a lot. You will feel very uncomfortable during this season.
