Visitors or those moving to the Calabar municipality, Nigeria should note that it’s a tourist destination for visitors, and a good place to live in. Though the security situation, especially in the southern part, is becoming worse by the day and one should be careful and be aware of happenings in the environment. Cost of living in Calabar is moderate and relatively fair as compared to other big cities in Nigeria.
The city is a nice city. The people are warm and receptive. It is home to one of the top Federal Schools in Nigeria. The City’s population is made up mainly of students. It is really easy for someone to transport themselves through the City. It is a pretty quiet City with simple activities. The city is equipped with a Football Stadium, a Shopping Mall and a Lake Resort.
