Many people come to the town for vacation, retirement, or delicious food. For vacation people come to stay at the State Park. The Lake Guntersville State Park has a beautiful overview that is perfect for sunsets at the top of a mountain. At the State Park there are hiking trails, ziplining, golf courses, campgrounds, kayak rentals, rv park, boat rentals, skeet shooting, buffeys, and log cabins.

For retirement, people buy houses near the lake with lake access. The real estate market is going really hot now. People can get good deals for sunset views with a beach-like feel. The houses here are perfect for the outdoors with the two most popular places: Gunter’s Landing and Spring Creek.
