Makurdi is the state capital of Benue. The standard of living here is low compared to other states in the country. Benue is called the food basket of the nation because of the great agricultural produce it yields yearly. The people of Makurdi are very hospitable. The major languages spoken are Tiv and Idoma.
Good area, with nice and loving people who welcomes strangers. They also love farming and are very industrious. The name of the biggest market is modern market where almost everything is sold. Anyone visiting the city for the first time should try and visit the market. There are many churches and mosques in the city.
The people of Makurdi metropolis, Benue State, Nigeria are a handful of indigenous farmers and are extremely hospitable to foreigners. We love pork and are very good at making pork sauce. However, the downside is, the weather is unnecessarily harsh year-round. But just as everything with a disadvantage, the advantage of the hot weather is, it helps for cultivating medical marijuana.
I reside in Makurdi the capital of Benue state, Nigeria. We possess sufficient amenities such as vast chain of stores and comfortable environment for tourists. The Benue River is a sight to behold while sponsoring a list of establishments. I am comfortable right here, such a warm climate we have.
It is pleasant to stay, good for business and free of violence. The weather good. People come from far near for vacation. The question is who can dispute the tenacity of youths in the city to bring new ideas. No man is idle. Children at the age of two are schooling. This is marvellous in my eyes.
